Skip McFarling - one of our founding members, a home brewer for a little over six years and a fan of big IPAs; enjoys scuba and kayaking.
Scott Montez - has been brewing since 1985 when he was not old enough to buy beer, but found out he could brew at home. His passion is for making ales and red wine, but has also dabbled in mead and cider. His favorite styles are IPAs, red ales and porters along with stouts and barley wine. But he says that with all things, balance is the key to perfection. His other passion is modifying his Ducati motorcycle and riding the beautiful back roads of Mendocino county.
Mark McKey - "My first brew was in college sometime around 1980; it all gets a little fuzzy back then. We tried cracking barley on a pizza pan with a rolling pin. We ended up with an extract brew that never carbonated. So began my brewing hiatus until I met Scott in 1996 and we started brewing together (a red ale of course). Our tastes are pretty much the same except I have to say 'no' to most Belgians. The beer not the people! I spend a lot of my free time playing Disc Golf which I have done since my college days. It's a sport that bodes well with brews."
